New Students - Application Deadlines


8th Grade Students

You are invited to take a closer look!

Start by attending Open House.

You will be well on your way to successfully completing your application by following the steps below.

  1. ATTEND Loretto’s Open House: Sunday, October 21, 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
  2. ARRANGE for a Shadow Day visit: November – December.
    (arrange through your school or call Mrs. Perez at 916-482-7793 x 103)
  3. GIVE recommendation forms to your clergy & school...November to January
  4. REGISTER for the High School Placement Test. Registration deadline is Friday, January 25, 2008
  5. TAKE the High School Placement Test at Loretto. Test day is Saturday, January 26, 2008; 7:45 a.m. check-in
  6. TURN IN your complete application. Deadline is Saturday, January 26, 2008
  7. ATTEND your family interview: Tuesday, January 29, 2008
  8. BE SURE Clergy and School Recommendations are turned in at Loretto. Deadline is Monday, February 4, 2008
  9. Letters of decision are mailed: Friday, March 7, 2008

Transfer Students

You are invited to take a closer look!

Start by attending Open House.

Contact Mrs. Perez or phone (916) 482-7793 ext 103 to schedule your Shadow Day.

You will be well on your way to successfully completing your application by following the steps below. Only transfer applicants for 10th must take the High School Placement Test.  Please following testing deadlines.

  1. REGISTER for the High School Placement Test: Deadline is Friday, January 25, 2008
  2. ASK for letters of reference: one from a teacher of math or English; one from
    someone who knows you outside of school, such as a coach or youth
    group leader.
  3. GET your current high school transcripts and recent standardized test results, as well as those from 8th grade, from the schools you have attended.
  4. TAKE the High School Placement Test at Loretto. Test day is Saturday, January 26, 2008; 7:45 am check-in.
  5. TURN IN your complete application, including transcripts & recommendations.
  6. ARRANGE with Mrs. Perez for a half-day visit to classes and a family interview.
