Student Leadership
is an important aspect of campus life at Loretto High School.
It is compromised of an executive council, class councils,
and senators. All positions are elected by the student
body at the end of each school year.
Class council
meetings are held most Mondays after school. Executive
Council meetings are held on alternative Mondays with the
senators attending every other week. On the off weeks
the executive council has planning meetings and the senators
attend class council meetings. This plan promotes
excellent communication between Executive Council and the
classes. The Constitution of Loretto High School Student
Body itemizes the particular positions with requirements.
All students are encouraged to involve themselves
in student leadership either at the leadership-at-large
level or the club level.
